Argentinian duo Happy707 join up with Death Decay Magic to release six cuts entitled Bodyworxxx, including remixes from Filmmaker and Lbeeze.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Happy707 is the DJ/producer duo of May Mc Laren and Tomas Palmariello, who formed in 2019, playing underground parties all over the Argentinian capital. As well as DJing, the pair also play a live set with samplers, synths, vocals, and FX. With a raw sound influenced by the darker edges of EBM, Acid, Electro, and Techno, Happy707's output has taken them far and wide with releases on Clan Destine Records, New York Haunted, Oraculo Records, Pildoras Tapes, Discos Pato Carlos, and Revolte (CH). The pair now joins Black Light Smoke's New York-based imprint, Death Decay Magic, following releases from The Hacker, Man 2.0, Daniel Holt, and the label boss himself.

"すばらしい" begins with crunchy modulations, eccentric choppy vocals and stabbing 303s before "Distraida" lays down electro-tinged rhythms, thudding bass shimmers and haunting leads in the distance. Up next, "Metal Fingers" upholds the raw aesthetics with chugging EBM madness, a heavy dose of power fx, and piercing frequencies whilst "FM o.O" deploys rough-edged grooves, industrial sonics, and dynamic, revolving synths

Colombian artist Filmmaker is a prolific artist who's constantly pushing boundaries and has released on Opal Tapes, Detriti, HC Records, and Squall Recordings. His remix of "FM o.O" is peppered with syncopated rhythms, fierce oscillations, and undulating intensity. Up North label boss, Lbeeze, rounds off proceedings with a shrilling remix of "すばらしい" as the bullet-like melodies sit underneath the mutant drums and gnarly, metallic bursts.
