My Girls by Miane
Ibiza's Miane releases her My Girls two-tracker on Repopulate Mars.
Previously appearing on Matthias Tanzman's Moon Harbour, Chris Lake's Black Book, and Nic Fanciulli's Saved, DJ/producer Miane steps up to Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars for her first outing on the imprint, bringing a fiercely energetic pair of catchy house tracks.
Title track "My Girls" sees Miane deploy pulsing drums alongside a modulating synth lead, providing a bedrock for airy, earworm vocals to sit atop the bouncy instrumental. "I'm Gonna Get You" follows, heading for deeper territories as hypnotic basslines rattle under sizzling percussion and choppy vocals, rounding out an impressive contribution to the label from a rising star of modern house music.
