Born and raised in Burgos, Spain, Yamil has been delivering high-quality, high-charting house music for several years now. He draws on a rich world of Afro-inspired sounds and cultures and brings classy percussion and deep vibrations. He has landed on the likes of Sol Selectas and MoBlack while also playing plenty of notable clubs and festivals around the world and picking up support and plays from mainstays like Black Coffee and Solomun. After collaborating with G.Zamora on this label in the past, he now returns with a fantastic solo outing.

The opener, "Nimbe," is an enchanting and escapist track that takes you deep to the heart of a spiritual gathering with jazzy trumpet motifs. Layers of rhythmic vocal chants and spoken words will soon entice dancers as the uplifting melodies soar. "Amonunde" is just as authentic and well crafted, this time with a more late-night feel and rolling beats embellished with shakers, starry melodies, and smoky, soulful vocals. The fantastic "Cotonú" closes down with an elegant and empowering mix of bold chords and warm, rubbery drums offset by more plaintive piano keys and another mesmerizing vocal delivery.
