No Punk EP by HNQO

A dark smoke-filled café at the better end of the street is a description that would suit the latest release from HNQO.

No Punk EP by HNQO Art by SlothBoogie Recordings

HNQO returns to SlothBoogie Recordings after contributing the looped-up goodness of his "So Sure" track to the label's Dancing With Friends series last summer. This time around, he's delivered another set of pumping and danceable gems for the No Punk EP.

The Brazilian opens with the EP's title track, a late-night burner layered with low-slung and driving grooves punctuated by echoed synth stabs, filtered brass, vocal samples, and rolling basslines.

Next is " Nonverbal Comms," which will test your speaker's low end to the limit. The thick bassline will hypnotize you as it whomps its way into summertime melodies and floaty, feel-good vibes.

The dark and moody "Trick" closes out the EP with its hypnotic atmosphere, skipping hats, filtered rumblings, and heads-down hazy feelings - perfect for a smokey dancefloor.
