Psycho EP by Solardo

Solardo's first-ever Trick record, "Psycho," lands in April, hot on the heels of the label's 100th release from head honcho Patrick Topping. The sweat-inducing title cut opens up proceedings in a rugged, stomping fashion with subtle hints of electroclash. The off-balance bass makes for a wonky workout while distorted synth pressure and anthemic sung-spoken vocals send the party wild. "Fall Apart" is another equally raw and off-kilter track with a warped bassline, gritty synths, and whirring machine sounds offset by tripped-out vocals that descend into all-out dancefloor carnage.

Formed in 2014, Manchester duo Solardo skyrocketed to fame and have subsequently become one of house music's biggest names. With residencies at revered clubs like Hï Ibiza, their chart-topping Sola imprint, and omnipresent tracks and remixes for the likes of Ultra and Defected, they continue to dominate the scene, and "Psycho" on Trick drives them forward in 2025.
