Calvin Logue has risen up through his native Glaswegian scene to make a swift mark on the international techno landscape. From playing at infamous local haunt The Arches to gigs at Ibiza clubs, including Space, Sankeys, and Amnesia, he has injected fresh perspective into the scene. Now, he steps up to Patrick Topping's mighty Trick with two of his best cuts yet.
First up is "Rave In the Jungle," a full-throttle track that taps into old-school energy with raved-up stabs, incendiary hi-hats, and block-rocking techno beats designed for maximum impact on the floor. Then comes "Make it Hot," with its wall-rattling bass and rock sonic kicks coming together for a potent techno groove topped with sheet-metal synths. Sensual vocals bring a touch of erotica while trippy acid melodies explode sporadically up top.
