A favourite of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Marco Carola and Hot Since 82, the Greek producer has garnered a solid reputation for his inimitable grooves with recent productions appearing on Hot Creations, VIVa MUSiC, Edible Beats and Moon Harbour. He now joins a stacked roster spanning the likes of MK, Patrick Topping, Justin Jay and Mihalis Safras on Lee Foss’ burgeoning Repopulate Mars kick-starting the label’s second year.
Featuring syncopated percussion, a gyrating bassline and infectious vocal, ‘Swagon’ ft Ossey James has been in high demand since Detlef unleashed it on crowds a year ago. ‘Pump Up’ then combines a chopped vox with rumbling low-end as rave stabs operate throughout, until ‘My Home’ concludes the package with crunchy snares and a meandering rhythm.
