Thought I Should Go All The Way with Julio Torres and Ketoots
Brazilian pioneer Julio Torres and Ketoots hook up for deep, melodic, and addictive new single Thought I Should Go All The Way.
Julio Torres is one of the pioneers of São Paulo's first generation of DJs and now has an international reputation. He has been at the heart of the house scene for more than 20 years and has played everywhere from Rock in Rio to Tomorrowland and Space Ibiza. His music lands on the likes of Cocada, and he recently collaborated with Brazilian house duo and childhood friends Ketoots on a new track for Solomon's Diynamic. They now hook up once more for another steamy, summer-ready groove on Notre Dame's ever more vital Paranormal label.
Driven by hypnotic grooves, subtle tension, and Carol Monteiro's magnetic vocal, "Thought I Should Go All The Way" blends intimacy and club energy. The groove is loopy and hooky, with a rugged guitar riff at its heart and sweeping synths adding extra movement. Brighter chords then bring celebratory uplift as the vocal shifts from spoken word to a more expressive, soaring style. It's a catchy sound that's perfect for cozy back rooms and outdoor festival stages alike.
