Two Step EP by Franz Costa

Solid Grooves Records returns with two percussive cuts from Italian producer Franz Costa with label founder Michael Bibi providing a remix.

Having released on Deeperfect, ElRow, Antural Records and Natural Rhythm, Franz Costa’s upwards trajectory is indisputable. The Italian’s productions have been regularly championed by the likes of Marco Carola, whilst his abilities in the DJ booth has seen him become a resident for Ibiza Talents, not to mention numerous appearances at Pacha Ibiza, Egg London, Bora Bora Ibiza, Classic Club Italy and more. He now joins the Solid Grooves Records roster, spanning PAWSA, Wade, Dennis Cruz, Reelow and David Pher, with a pair of club focused tracks this February.

‘Two Step’ features a heady bassline as a medley of raw sounding drum hits and glitchy vocal snippets operate throughout. ‘Moving Balance’ then ventures into more rhythmic territories with its intricate percussion, stuttering synths and catchy hook before Michael Bibi’s weighty reinterpretation of ‘Two Step’ implements metallic nuances and a rumbling low end.
