Following four high-energy releases on the imprint, in-demand DJ/producer and label boss OMRI. (pronounced OMRI dot) continues to build momentum for his newly launched label, Collecting Dots Records, with its fifth offering - welcoming Bay Area-raised, LA-based talent The Botanist for his vibrant debut, "Wanna Dance?".

Emerging onto the scene in 2023, The Botanist has been quickly making a name for himself across Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York with his infectious DJ sets, organic-driven productions, and fresh presence behind the decks. Having already earned support from heavyweights like Fisher and AYYBO, Mr. Belt & Wezol, and more, he now steps up with a record designed to remind club-goers why they fell in love with house music in the first place.

"Wanna Dance?" is an ode to why we all fell in love with house music in the first place…to let loose on the dance floor. In a time where bottle service and phones on the dance floor seem to dominate the scene, I made this track as an anthem for those who simply came out to dance. Very excited to be joining the Collecting Dots family and to get this track out into the world.
