Buridan is a man on form right now. The techno innovator has landed on labels like Alan Fitzpatrick's Apex Faction, and We Are The Brave, as well as Tronic, and with each new release, he searches out ever-more original musical realms. In a short space of time, he has made his mark with great melody and moving grooves that have had big support from tastemakers like Adam Beyer and now makes his debut on Sasha's innovative Last Night On Earth.

The opener "Homer" is an epic one. Unhurried but captivating, it rides on warm, rolling drums with deft synth arps and more bright, twinkling melodies that all serve to lock you in an ever-ascending state of hypnosis. "The Rift" has a more menacing atmosphere - the darker, more textured bass brings that energy under airy synth motifs that constantly loopy and shimmer up top and make for a moving and cinematic sound.

The superb "Iota" ups the ante once more with big, rolling, dubbed-out techno drums and molten chords rippling endlessly as they sweep up everything in their wake. Closer "All The Land Between" completes a classy and absorbing EP with six spell-binding minutes of deep techno drums and widescreen synth designs, all topped off with characterful cosmic details.
