Fresh from mixing a disc of Defected In The House Miami 2014, Canadian artist Paolo Rocco has been going from strength to strength with his steady flow of quality releases in recent years. Highly regarded for his exceptionally structured DJ sets as well as his inimitable production prowess, this artist of Italian descent has produced for a slew of creditable imprints such as Saved Records, Seaking, Real Tone and Klasse Recordings whilst also seeing his exceptional work praised by the likes of Damian Lazarus, Nic Fanciulli and DJ Sneak.

Rocco’s original of ‘Move Body, Move Forward’ has mesmeric clear chords making for the body of the track whilst catchy pitched down vocals add a dose of quirkiness to its emotive veneer. In contrast fellow Canadian, Nathan Barato, offers a dark roller of a remix with energy that ought to stir up dancefloors at the push of a button. Lastly Osunlade demonstrates his signature gift for reconstructing a track into something alternatively fresh and exciting in the form of two mixes: Yoruba Soul Mix and Yoruba Soul Dub. Both versions incorporate a unique blend of layered synths whilst the vocals recur as a hypnotising loop.
