Feiertag's scintillating form continues with Cala, the third single from his much-anticipated mini-album, Dive.

Utrecht-based sonic craftsmen Feiertag has a unique take on dance music. He makes foot-tapping electronic sounds that are as emotionally deep as they are physically catchy. His deft designs seamlessly melt synthetic sounds with organic instrumentation. He treats vocals with a delicate touch and layers them into his tracks in refreshing new ways. He debuted on this label with last year's album Time To Recover and is sure to pick up just as many plaudits with this new one.
"Cala" was one of the last tracks to be recorded when making the album but is definitely one of its most sonorous. It layers up steel drums, guitars, and sweeping synths with snappy drums and a touch of Jamie XX's indie styles to make for a jostling, dynamic beat that is melodically rich and adventurous.
The fantastic "Cala" hints at the more esoteric sounds you should expect from the forthcoming Dive.
