San Diego-based Mitch Dodge has been making waves with a fine run of releases on labels such as Dirtybird, Box of Cats, and Music is 4 Lovers, where he is also an editor and audio engineer. His love of sound design takes in 90s hip hop and love of four to the floor, which he pours into his latest production for Lee Foss' South Of Saturn.
The punchy "Can You Hear Me?" brings together sun-kissed Cali-synths, swaggering beats with a hint of ghetto sleaze, rapped vocals, and a tight bassline that never quits.
