New York's Resco (US) arrives on Sound D'Elite with his collaborative three-track "Dat Funk EP," linking with three international voices from across the house scene: UK talent Chris Brooks, Miami-based Max Vitelli, and Egypt's M.O.E. Following his Beatport-charting breakthrough "Crazy" in 2024, Resco has continued to earn consistent support from industry heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Ilario Alicante, Franky Rizardo and Cloonee, and this latest release finds him proving why he's becoming a prominent name emerging from the Big Apple.
Opening the EP, Resco joins forces with Chester-born Brooks on title track, "Dat Funk," pairing organic percussion, rolling low-end and hooky vocal chops in a tightly wound groove built for peak-time dancefloors. "Get Back" sees the pair double down for another dose of driving swing, before "Dirty Checks," where Resco links up with Miami-based artists Max Vitelli and M.O.E for an impressive finale; blending raw energy into a rolling, bass-driven groove, elevated by sultry vocals and an effortless swagger to bring the EP to a hypnotic close.
