Energy by Dark Heart
Dark Heart takes the helm for Repopulate Mars' next single, Energy.

Dark Heart is the alias of a former Hollywood talent agent who left the movie world behind and is now fully immersed in underground electronic culture. The talented producer has already dropped plenty of standout originals such as "Fly" on SOLOTOKO and has picked up support from heavyweight DJs, including FISHER, Vintage Culture, and Diplo. Next to solo studio work, he has collaborated with Jem Cooke, Be No Rain, Mr. V, and Roland Clark and has production credits for artists including Martin Garrix, GASHI, and Dizzee Rascal. The LA-based talent now returns on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars once more for the anthemic single "Energy."
I wanted to make something that felt old school and was synth-driven, almost like the synth is the vocal. Once I came up with the sound design and that riff, it was game over. To me, the synth is how I imagine energy itself would sound.
Dark Heart
All those considerable skills shine through on "Energy," an explosive dance weapon. The dark, rumbling bass props up menacing vocal loops as razor-sharp hi-hats cut through the mix. Sweeping synths and smart filters add further drama before strobe-lit and rave-ready stabs take things to the next level.
