Funk Cartel presents Discotexx EP
Funk Cartel bring their rave-ready sounds to the Hottrax label with the three-track Discotexx EP.

Brothers Blame Rory and Kimono Cam have quickly risen through the ranks with releases on Etiquette and Deeperfect and running their own THUNDR imprint. The taste-making duo now steps up for Jamie Jones's always-on-point Hottrax with three robust and richly detailed cuts.
It goes without saying how influential a label Hottrax has been these past few years, and we are proud to be adding our flavor to the catalog. We hope the EP represents a fresh sound, we made all three tracks with the intention of bringing driving energy to the dance floor.
Funk Cartel
The title track, "Discotexx," starts with freaky vocals, sci-fi sonic details, and numerous effects that make the track irresistible. The superb "Higher" is another slice of dance floor dynamite, with a fluid bassline combined with addictive grooves for a spaced-out, futuristic track. Last but not least is "Feel It," another full flavor cut with punchy drum programming, trippy vocal fragments, and whirring sounds taking it into cosmic realms.
