guerrA heads to Hottrax, making his label debut with The 6th Sense.

Hailing from Curitiba, Brazil guerrA. has been making a name for himself with releases on Deeperfect, COCO, and Hellbent Records, paired with support from big players like Detlef, Cloonee, and Manda Moor, to name a few. The Brazilian producer now readies his Hottrax debut with the moody three-track EP "The 6th Sense," fusing low-end grooves and rumbling beats.

I'm really glad to be releasing this EP on Hottrax, I dreamed a lot about this moment and I'm grateful to see that it's really happening. I saw Jamie Jones playing at Warung in 2019 and It was one of the best DJ sets I've ever heard in my life, It woke me up a willing for digging into music and start producing. Something I love about this EP is that It has a lot of synths and momentums in the tracks, bringing different vibes to the same context, sliding through the nuances of the groove.

Across the EP, guerrA. distills his wide-ranging influences into three bumping tracks, naming Nathan Coles, Dyed Soundorom, Brett Johnson, David Berrie, Burnski, Rich NxT, as key inspirations. Leading the release, "The 6th Sense" brings bouncy bass hits, alluring vocals, and electric synths together for an energetic start to the EP. The track "The Sound" follows, with slinking metallic drums, punchy beats, and skittering chants combined to create a hypnotic atmosphere. Closing out the release is the minimal, trippy roller and essential late-night excursion, "Incidente" made in collaboration with Solid Grooves and DIRTYBIRD alum Simas.
