With over a hundred releases on Beatport, Derek Howell has become a staple in the dance music community. The guys at Lowbit Records are very excited to welcome him to the label by releasing his single Riding in Taxis as a double feature remix release (Pt.1 & Pt.2- forthcoming).

Riding in Taxis starts off with filtered chords that result in a continual evolution throughout, whilst new elements are added and progressively build up the track carrying you through a journey of sounds and melodies.

On Part 1 of the remix double feature, we would also like to welcome Polish duo Kobana & Yane3dots to the label; whom recently had a major hit on the Anjunadeep 03 compilation. Taking the filtered chords from the original and adding a funky, rolling bassline with progressive drums, they deliver a more upbeat, peak-time track.

Closing out the package is well known production duo Beat Factory, with their deeper, techy take on Riding in Taxis. Embodying the subtle chords, groovy drums, offbeat bassline and stylish melodies, this is a remix that definitely moves you to dance.
