Men Adore (The Mixes) by Fat Tony, Fierce Child
Iconic DJ and music lover Fat Tony revisits his 90s queer house anthem Men Adore with a sublime remix package.

Fat Tony is a true cultural icon. His roots go way back, and he has remained a vital voice as an artist, activist, and tireless voice for the LGBTQIA+ community. He has held plenty of key residencies and DJed all over the world, and back in 1995, he dropped "Men Adore" under his Fierce Child alias. Described as "the original bitch track," it became a club classic with fans including no less than Madonna thanks to its infectious vocal sample and smooth but punchy bass. To celebrate the track's 30th anniversary, a fresh update will make it a classic with a whole new generation.
2025 sees the launch of meme-master Tony's new London club night Udou alongside KDA, who is someone with whom Tony has often worked. He crafts plenty of effective cuts across the musical spectrum, from cheeky edits to effective house grooves, and comes up with the goods again here. Their superb Now Mix subtly tweaks "Men Adore" for modern floors. The bass remains heavy, the vocals are sleazy, and the synths are perfect for strobe-lit rooms.
First to remix are Polish duo and Petz Recordings founders Catz n Dogz, who have explored all house styles across the last decade-plus. Their Tribal Dub rides on bouncing drums with distorted bass and tripped-out synths designed to ramp up the energy. Berlin mainstay Cinthie is one of the scene's most reliable house artists with credits on the likes of Aus Music and her own Elevate, which is also a vital record store in her hometown. Her feel-good remix layers in warming piano chord stabs and old-school house cool over deep, dynamic drums.
Northern Ireland-born Polari Records founder Cormac is a contemporary favourite with a unique take on HI-NRG, house, and techno. He brings his magic touch to the Divine Whore Remix, which is lit up with sassy Italo chords and stark analogue drums that are packed with an electrifying atmosphere. London favourite and Homo-Centric Records founder GIDEÖN is all about music with a message. His Cash remix boils everything down to steamy vocals, garage-tinged drums, and sultry chords that are perfect for uniting the dance floor. Last but not least is the "12 inches Just the Right Size" mix, which rides on organ-laced drums with jacked-up percussion and the ever-provocative vocal.
