One of the UK's foremost electronic artists, MJ Cole, makes his D4 D4NCE debut with "Knock Knock," featuring prolific house vocalist Clementine Douglas. An acclaimed London DJ, producer, label boss, and remixer who has earned BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominations, as well as a MOBO Best Producer award, MJ Cole's extensive catalogue has shaped the UK dance music scene since the seminal release "Sincere," which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025.

He has remixed for Disclosure, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Jorja Smith, De La Soul, and Mariah Carey, with his 2010 originals spotlighting grime heavyweights like AJ Tracey, Wiley, and Kojey Radical - he has also produced for a slew of top-tier artists, including "Crown" for Stormzy in 2019. 2024 saw him collaborate with one of the UK's freshest electronic talents, Eliza Rose, for "Business As Usual," DJ for new-gen UKG faves such as Sammy Virji, and receive an invite from Jamie XX to play at his MOT residency.

Now landing on D4 D4NCE in advance of his set at the London label's O Beach Ibiza residency, the Godfather of Garage is joined by house staple Clementine Douglas, an established singer-songwriter and vocalist whose impressive catalogue includes collabs with Chase and Status, David Guetta, MK, Sonny Fodera and The Blessed Madonna, as well as writing for everyone from P!nk to Amber Mark.

One of the UK dance scene's most instantly recognisable vocal talents, Clementine Douglas was awarded Vocalist of the Year at the Radio 1 Dance Awards in 2023, Breakthrough MC/Vocalist at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards 2024, and was honoured in the NME 100 in 2025. Alongside releasing her debut solo music that included "Riddles," "Slippin," and most recent track "True," she made her live debut at BBC Radio 1 Ibiza and ended last year with a sold-out, eight-date UK tour.

Together, the two deliver an uplifting record, co-produced by Piers Agget from Rudimental; "Knock Knock" harkens back to the golden era of UKG with MJ Cole's glossy, modern production supporting Clementine Douglas's agile topline.
