Morpei is a DJ, producer, author, and head of the Buriloop world, which encompasses music, events, and visual storytelling across distinctive label, studio, and publishing arms, all with a Latin American focus. Morpei himself has made his mark around the world with music on the likes of Elrow, Get Physical, and Moxy Muzik. Already this year, he made history as the first Latin artist to release a complete editorial trilogy for DJs and producers in neutral Spanish. It includes a technical Ableton manual, an industry survival guide, and an adult comic book, and is now accompanied by his second studio album, featuring 10 original tracks rolled out bi-weekly over five months.

This album represents a deeply personal and strategic milestone in Morpei’s journey. It demonstrates that even artists from underrepresented places, such as Bolivia, can make waves on the global stage. Musically, it roams from deep tech for peak-time moments to rolling tech house with classic vocoder vocals and explosive Brazilian batucada-inspired weapons.

Opener "Boogie All Right" is a collision of jacked-up drums and analogue percussion woven with sunny melodies and funky bass twangs, making an electrifying start. "Without Your Love" then brings more smooth and organic sounds and balmy pads with romantic R&B vocal swirls, whilst "ID Please" is a deep cut that drives with steamy trumpets and gorgeous keys. After the more chuggy and tribal throb of "Break A Leg" with Nico Gamarra, "UNI2" layers up silky chords and organs with deft percussion for a jazzy vibe.

The second half of this accomplished long player kicks into peak time energy with the kicking "Stawp The Musik" before the minimal grooves and seductive synths and vocals of "You’re Love" power on.

"Batujiggy" is a densely layered collage of Afro drums, samba shuffles, organic percussion, and thumping drums that brings the heat, and "I Ever Wanted" brings late-night romance with an intimate vocal whisper and crisp, steamy tech grooves, with one final track to be announced.
