Melodic bomb "Surge" features chugging synths and cowbell rhythms while rich, saturated melodies and a mysterious vocal permeate throughout. Nuran masterfully incorporates elements of anticipation and suspense with a deeply emotive breakdown and thrilling buildups, expertly laying the foundations for label founder Sarkis Mikael and Dear Humans' signature reinterpretation of the track.
NCTRNL is a Los Angeles-based label exploring subterranean house, downtempo and melodic techno. They now recruit Miami artist Nuran for the 18th release on the imprint, whose productions have seen previous support from the likes of Adriatique, Oliver Koletzki, Township Rebellion, Eelke Kleijn, Joseph Capriati, and many more.
