Reverie by Da Mike & Demayä
Afro-house tastemakers Da Mike & Demayä land on Connected with the devastating emotional weapon, Reverie.
Greek artist Da Mike is one of the driving forces behind his homeland's contemporary scene. His music has found a regular home on this label, as well as Saved and King Street, and often dominates the Afro-House charts. Meanwhile, Demayä has made his mark with a distinctive house sound on labels like Blond:ish's Abracadabra and Calamar Records. His music has picked up millions of streams and high-profile plays from tastemakers like Dennis Cruz, Bedouin, and Damian Lazarus.
Their wonderful "Reverie" quickly establishes a warm, rolling, deep house rhythm detailed with soft shakers and pensive pads. A spellbinding vocal soon arrives to take things to all new emotional levels and is back by dramatic chords that raise the tension and make for an epic dance floor escape.
