Slowing EP by David Museen
David Museen debuts on Adesso Music with the three-track EP, Slowing.
Spanish artist David Museen continues to carve out a distinctive space within the electronic landscape, guided by an instinctive command of groove. As the driving force behind the True Story Comic label, he has built a reputation as a prolific and versatile producer with a catalog spanning respected imprints such as Toolroom, Kittball, Cr2 Records, and beyond. A regular presence in the Beatport Top 100, his productions have earned support from global tastemakers such as Peggy Gou, Hernan Cattaneo, Roger Sanchez, and Marco Carola. Now, Museen steps into the Adesso Music fold with a spellbinding three-track debut, the "Slowing EP."
Opener "Ez Da Gelditzen" sets the tone with expansive energy, as spaced-out percussion and breezy synths rise and pan throughout the mix alongside emotive Afro vocal elements. "Morning Light" follows, unfolding across six minutes as a rich downtempo odyssey, where fluid synths ripple over softly pulsing drums to conjure a late-night ambiance that feels both intimate and expansive.
Closing the EP, title cut "Slowing" delivers a euphoric yet reflective finale, blending organic percussion with warped synth layers, brooding low-end, and aching male vocals. The result is a deeply resonant conclusion to the release, underlining Museen's refined touch and ear for immersive sound design.
