The Light by Yves Murasca & Rosario Galati Feat. Chasing Kurt

Déepalma Records founder Yves Murasca pairs up with regular collaborator Rosario Galati and German act Chasing Kurt for a release on Kittball featuring remixes from Vienna’s Keyano and Berlin’s Superlover.

Having cut his teeth as an artist on Milk & Sugar, Germany’s Yves Murasca has since found much success at the helm of his thriving Déepalma Records label. Together with Rosario Galati, both producers have made frequent appearances on the imprint since its launch in 2013, however it was in May last year when they made their debut on the renowned Dortmund-based label, Kittball.

Murasca & Galati’s second contribution to the label also features Chasing Kurt who are well-known for their work on Mousse T.’s Peppermint Jam and Defected Records.

An emotive and effervescent production from the off, "The Light" powers forward with a sultry bassline and soft synths whilst incorporating Chasing Kurt’s inimitable vocals. Part of the Mother Recordings family, Superlover’s remix features organic percussion and an animated piano riff that contribute to an increasing rise in tension, before moving on to the darkest reinterpretation on the package from Keyano, complete with purring bass and enticing melodies.
