Comprising three originals and a remix from Pink Concrete, "The Theme EP" sees the Berlin-based Brit known for blending house, disco and techno delve further into his 1980s new wave influences hinted at in his recent "The Love And Sex" EP for HE.SHE.THEY.

The first track "Theme" is Parker at his most musical. With simple piano licks, digital strings, and soaring choral swells, this is an anthemic piece that oozes class. "Radio Waves (After Dark)" sees staccato synth leads play off a pulsing bass while the titular vocal sample and aesthetic recall some of Parker's work under his lauded It's Not Over pseudonym. Closing the originals is the arpeggio-driven "The Work Out", an undulating late-night cut displaying Parker's penchant for high energy arrangements.

Prague's Pink Concrete rounds out the EP with a driven but melodic techno interpretation of "Theme".
