Twerq It by Riva Starr x Hilit Kolet feat. NEZ

Riva Starr teams up with Hilit Kolet and NEZ for the latest collaboration in the Defected Records' Together series, Twerq It.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases: Together, integrating talent from the label's storied past and the stars of its future as Riva Starr and Hilit Kolet join forces for "Twerq It" featuring NEZ.

No stranger to the Defected family, Riva Starr's relationship with the London label continues to blossom following standout releases like ‘Love Divine' and his celebrated Defected House Masters collection - not to mention standout performances at flagship festival Defected Croatia and their Ushuaïa Ibiza residency.

Prominent London DJ and producer Hilit Kolet also has a history with the label, her Defected debut ‘Techno Disco' proved her status as a respected club authority, with follow-up release "POV Siren" on Faith further cementing her as a heavy hitter.

Joining the two established producers is LA artist NEZ on vocal duty, a house music maverick whose distinct flow has featured in collabs with Moodymann, Eats Everything, and HoneyLuv.

These three artists have all carved out their own lane in-house, and now they join forces for Defected's Together series; "Twerq It" is a record built for the club, with its addictive lyricism and inventive four-on-the-floor rhythms delivering build and release with a modern twist.
