Defected Records presents the debut album from Yours, the innovative, multi-faceted, London-based creative collective. A unique, 13-track body of work that showcases the group's diverse musical influences, What's Mine Is Yours is delivered with masterful polish, as each member of Yours brings their individuality and experience to the fore.

Launched in 2023 by esteemed Irish vocalist Maverick Sabre, revered producer New Machine, whose recent production credits include Jorja Smith, Kano, Plan B, Aitch, and Bakar, Jake Hall, founder of the eponymous brand By Jake Hall and stylist to stars such as Mike Tyson, David Beckham, and Gigi Hadid, and his brother Sonny Hall [Sóller], the group continues to redefine what it means to be a dance act in 2024.

The group utilizes its varied experience to produce innovative and genre-defying dance records, accompanied by dynamic visual elements and often filmmatic music videos. Their unique dynamic sets them apart. Jake is responsible for all the release artwork, and his input has created a distinctive visual identity for the group.

Creating this album has been a journey of stepping outside our comfort zones and defying self-imposed limits. By embracing the unknown, we've crafted something truly special and something we're incredibly proud of.

From soulful cuts that put Maverick's inimitable vocal at center stage, like the title track "What's Mine Is Yours," "Round & Round," and "Love Might Make Me Better," to the dancefloor-ready "Our Love (80's)," "Go Your Way," and "CTRL," What's Mine Is Yours explores a breadth of musical influences and genres. At the same time, the signature Yours groove and ever-crisp production is never absent from the individual records.

Debuting on Defected in 2023 with summertime hit "Dónde Está," Yours has continued to go from strength to strength. From being remixed by house legends Masters At Work to producing cinematic music videos, receiving widespread support from national UK and Irish radio stations and press, and recording a live session at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios with a full band, What's Mine Is Yours is another tangible example of Yours' unwavering dedication to their craft.

The Yours collective also offers their live proposition, which comes as both a live ensemble, first brought to life at Abbey Road Studios with a full band, as well as hybrid DJ sets that have seen them grace festival stages at Defected Croatia and iconic clubs such as fabric London, Ministry of Sound, Ushuaïa and Lío Ibiza. A physical manifestation of their infectious energy, Yours has also hosted one-off events of venues such as Soho House and The Ned, bringing the joyous energy of their music to life with full takeovers of the venues. Bringing in over 700 sign-ups for their first takeover at Soho House's 40 Greek Street, the appetite for Yours' live showcases is evident in the reaction.

As distinguished creators, all with impressive solo ventures, this unexpected quartet's collaboration makes them the most exciting new acts on the scene. What's Mine Is Yours is an unmissable album debut.
