Fire EP by Jordan Peak
The UKG-influenced Fire EP marks a debut for the UK artist Jordan Peak on the burgeoning label 32 Endz.
Previously tipped by DJ Mag and Pete Tong as one to watch, Jordan Peak has remained a key player in the house and techno spheres for over a decade, boasting credits on the likes of Bass Culture, Morris Audio, and Robsoul, and winning the hearts of heavyweights from Carl Cox to Disclosure. Adding another label debut to his extensive back catalog, the UK talent now readies his first outing on 32 Endz with the two-track "Fire EP."
Opener "Fire" sees Peak going straight for the jugular, fusing precision drum programming with hooky vox samples and wall-rattling bass that will sure-fire get hands in the air before closing out with "Fascinated," a low-slung cut where glossy pads, melodic arps, and dreamy vocals meet wobbly low-end.
