Addicted (Alinka Remix) by Madben

French techno titan Madben took things to the next level with his latest album, a multi-genre work that both bangs on the dance floor and follows an intriguing narrative arc. It comes after many years of shaping the underground and releasing on the likes of Laurent Garnier's Scan X label.

Ukraine-born but Berlin-based remixer Alinka crafts hard-hitting sounds for the likes of Rekids and Live at Robert Johnson. She does so with a penchant for weirdness and influences from Chicago and Detroit while DJing at cult clubs Berghain/Panorama Bar, Circoloco, and Smart Bar. Here she flips "Addicted" into a pulsating and sweaty house thumper. The elastic bass and snapping hits are run through with warm synth stabs, spraying acid, and a loopy vocal, bringing extra sleaze up top to ensure the floor goes wild.

The release also features the original single for those who missed it the first time around. These are two all-conquering house tracks destined to make an indelible impact.
