High Soundsystem & Tapesh combine on Mason Collective's Whippin Records for their collaborative Bodyworkin EP.

Two artists embedded within The Netherlands' house and tech house landscapes, Amsterdam-based DJ/producer Tapesh and Rotterdam's High Soundsystem have been on a roll in recent years, delivering slick releases via the likes of Deeperfect, Moan, and AVOTRE. Having recently joined forces on UK imprint Metafloor, the pairing step it up as they head to Mason Collective's bubbling Whippin imprint to drop three fresh productions via their Bodyworkin EP.

The title cut "Bodyworkin" welcomes a playful yet punchy opener as slinking percussion and snaking basslines guide infectious vocals and bouncy stabs to showcase a peak-time production perfect for main rooms and terraces alike. Next, "Mentally Stimulated" combines dubby chords and swirling pads with funk-fuelled bass licks, before "Swing It" veers down a similar path whilst bringing energy and drive to shape up proceedings in style.
