Bugged Out Weekender 2016 announces pool parties
With less than 4 months to go, the Bugged Out Weekender 2016 is shaping up as the ultimate rave weekend to kick start the year and chase the January blues away.

With recent additions to the stellar line-up including Innervisions gods Âme (LIVE), ever-innovative Pampa boss DJ Koze, longtime heroes Groove Armada, celebrated, genre-bending selector Joy Orbision, Erol Alkan’s Phantasy sound protege Kamera, Night Slugs alumni and Sampha collaborator Lil Silva, not to mention deep house originator, Kerri Chandler and Swedish house king Jonas Rathsman - it’s hard to think of a reason not to lay down your GBP 50 deposit this instant and start cherry-picking your best pals for the chalet full of fun and shenanigans that is Bugged Out Weekender.
One of the main attractions of the Weekender has and always will be the pool parties. Over the years, Butlin's Splash World has hosted many a memorable set, from Mike Skinner's set of jumping (Reebok) classics, to Skream’s bangers and the 2 Bears’ inflatable topped shindig, not forgetting a certain Fatboy Slim's secret set at BOW 2015. For the 2016 edition, two legendary behemoths of mischief-making will be keeping the waves ravey and the inflatables bouncing. Hosting one of the pool dance offs is Jackmaster and his notorious Tweak-a-holic show, a riot of house party classics, not-so-guilty pleasures, 80s mutant funk and rare 7” delights. One of the foremost taste makers on the scene right now, Jackmaster’s unbridled energy behind the decks and bottomless crate of bangers never fails to incite frenzy on the dance floor.
Masters of creative reinvention and bonafide authorities on dance music Bicep, will be bringing their Hot Tub Jamz to the Weekender for a dose of much needed pool side sleaze. With recent releases on own imprint Feel My Bicep and Aus Recordings slaying dance floors all over the world, esteemed duo and master selectors Bicep are sure to be another watery highlight. Back on dry land, party starter Artwork will be hosting a special BOW 2016 Art’s House.
A unique Weekender wonderland of custom built dance floors with lasers, smoke and unbeatable sound quality, as well as secret parties, arcades, rave karaoke and pub quizzes, there is no other event like it in the festival calendar.
