E Bafo by Fatnotronic
Brazilian artist Fatnotronic lands on the revived and rejuvenated Circa '99 with E Bafo, a long in-demand new single cooked up in collaboration with label head Boston Bun.

Fatnotronic is a mainstay in South America known for his crazy disco edits, obscure Brazilian boogie, acid house, Balearic, and world music fusions, which the likes of 2ManyDJs, Fatboy Slim, and Diplo have praised. His weekly radio show has welcomed guests like Busy P and Joe Goddard and has been played on global stations like Radio Nova, Red Light Radio, and BBC Radio1. He's released on the likes of like Razor-n-Tape, Partyfine, and Toy Tonics, and this tune came about when he was on tour in Europe in 2017 and jumped in the studio with Boston Bun. They soon found a groove, and the tune became a mainstay in his sets for years.
Amongst other things, the Portuguese word "Bafo" is slang for "amazing" and "cool," which is just what this catchy dance floor gem is. Full of energy, this housey cut is a peak-time weapon that has been a hotly requested ID, much Shazamed track, and sought-after gem that now finally gets an official release.
All sung in Portuguese, it is a perfect fusion of the musical cultures of France and Brazil. The drums are big and silky, so soon seduce, while the sleazy vocals bring plenty of naughtiness under the hooky synths. Big drums and steamy percussion finish it off in style.
