Fantasia EP by Pig & Dan & Aitor Ronda

The title track of the "Fantasia EP" by Pig & Dan and Aitor Ronda on Nicole Moudaber's MOOD features raw, filtered synth lines, psychedelic arpeggios, and reverb-heavy vocal chops. It's a mind-melting warehouse offering, with its extended breakdown building suspense before dropping into a melodic techno frenzy. The hypnotic "Do You Want To Go Faster" then features Fransesco El Catolico, who previously worked with Pig & Dan on their 2022 "Twenty Years" album on the duo's Elevate imprint and utilises a repeating vocal over racing 303 sequences, inviting the dancefloor onto an otherworldly, stomping acid trip.

Pig & Dan & Aitor Ronda's "Do You Want To Go Faster" is then remixed by LA scene royalty, label owner, and producer Truncate. He infuses "Do You Want To Go Faster" with his signature loopy Techno-tool flair, swapping the hypnotism of the synths and vocal by locking into the deeply infectious groove, bringing in additional alarm sequences and hard-hitting percussion.

True fixtures of MOOD since their debut on the label in 2017, Pig & Dan return to Nicole Moudaber's celebrated imprint with long-time collaborator Aitor Ronda for the "Fantasia EP." This marks the duo's second time teaming up with Ronda for a full-fledged EP, following the "Nautilus" EP on WHACK, with Ronda also being known for his releases on labels such as Monika Kruse's Terminal M and Reinier Zonneveld's Filth On Acid. Pig & Dan's last contribution to MOOD, the "Mozza EP" with Yulia Niko, won support from artists like Danny Tenaglia, Riva Starr, Hannah Wants, and Honey Dijon, with this next tripped-out installment on the label promising to ignite dance floors once again.
