Two Dutch powerhouses, Ferreck Dawn and GUZ, team up for "Friends Around (Set It Off)" on Defected Records. A welcome addition at many of the label's seminal parties, Ferreck's hard-hitting sound has taken him from Defected's iconic NYE party at Wembley's OVO Arena to Miami Music Week and now their newly launched Ushuaïa Ibiza residency for summer 2024.

Having built this incredible relationship with the London label thanks to a string of standout releases, most recently including a club remix of his collaboration with MEDUZA and Clementine Douglas, "I Got Nothing," Ferreck Dawn returns alongside GUZ for "Friends Around (Set It Off)."

Also no stranger to the Defected family, GUZ's recent DFTD release with Deeper Purpose and Dope Earth Alien "That Sound" saw the chart-topping producer bring his malleable, club-ready sound to the masses after hit releases "Set U Free" and "Thin Line."

Their latest outing showcases two producers who thrive on collaboration. "Friends Around (Set It Off)" spotlights a massive, addictive vocal and bold synth instrumentation to create an instant summer classic.
