Girls Love Techno by Maximo
San Diego's Maximo serves up the edgy double-A side, Girls Love Techno, on South Of Saturn.
Maximo's underground sounds are infused with a fresh trance-inspired twist and a moving melodic edge. The San Diego-based producer's first-ever release on Hood Politics went straight to #1 on Beatport's Tech House charts, and he received support from mainstays like Diplo, Gorgon City, and CamelPhat. Now, Maximo makes his debut on Lee Foss's South Of Saturn imprint with "Girls Love Techno."
First up is Maximo's solo track "Girls Love Techno" is a raw, peak-time cut with busy, serrated synths flashing about the groove next to sleazy vocals and astral melodies that will electrify the dancefloor. X Eliot is a young but accomplished artist who has played on some of the world's biggest stages alongside names like James Hype and SIDEPIECE, and his recent ‘Forever Dancing' single even went viral on social media. The Boston-based artist works with Maximo here on "Dust," a chunky tech house track with a moody rap vocal and warped synth stabs. It's futuristic and perfect to amp up the crowd with its heavy drops and bold bass energy.
