Guru EP by Eli Brown

Eli Brown returns to Repopulate Mars with three lively house stompers destined for the big room entitled Guru EP.

Having established himself as a highly respected producer within the drum n bass scene, it’s unsurprising that Eli Brown is hotly tipped as one of the most exciting prospects in modern house music.

This is further enforced by his discography to date, with the Bristolian’s productive 2017 featuring appearances on lauded imprints such as VIVa, Toolroom, Of Unsound Mind and Sola. He now reappears on Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars label to kick-start the year with a robust three track release.

An energetic affair from the off, "The Guru" features an infectious bassline, echoing effects and an upbeat vocal sample destined to move dancefloors. "Alone In The Dark" is a high-octane roller with its crunchy snares, twisting synths and hypnotic accordion, before Brown concludes the package with a compelling groove in the peak-time focused "Warning".
