Hot Workout by Aerobica

Chilean duo Aerobica get physical with their debut EP Hot Workout, landing on the NYC staple HOMAGE this autumn.

Aerobica, formed by Nico Castro & Pepo Fernandez, is a Chilean DJ/production duo holding down a residency at Noa Noa in Santiago. Making their production debut on Brooklyn's HOMAGE imprint, the pair have crafted three surefire dancefloor bombs, taking in influences from Italo, House, Disco, and beyond.

Lead track "Amor Suave" brings airy pads, elastic basslines, and spoken word over raucous drum hits for a high octane start to the EP before "Sex in Heaven" ramps up the energy with a sax lead, rave stabs, and a well-known piano riff coupled with tongue in cheek lyrics. Rounding out the release is "Latin Lover", with the duo reaching for powerful drums over catchy disco hooks, delivering a party-starting stomper destined for hands-in-the-air moments.

Since 2017, HOMAGE has remained a go-to imprint for upfront party sounds. Run by House Of Yes residents Ryan Clover & Fabi Jugo, the label has released music from Cinthie, Kettama, Ben Gomori, Teakup, and more.
