Lit Bit EP by Gabriele Toma

With his releases on Sticker Music, Be On Records, and SK Recordings picking up support from big hitters Dennis Cruz, Michael Bibi, and Jamie Jones, the Puglian-born Gabriele Toma released his debut EP on Jamie Jones' Hottrax with the knockout house three-tracker "Lit Bit EP".

Across the EP, Toma works vocal snippets and detailed production flair with ease, exemplified on the title cut "Lit Bit" which brings squelching percussion around a funky bassline, peppered with breakdowns designed with giant sound systems and crowded rooms in mind.

"Back It" sees robust drum work take center stage, bringing sustained energy with its hard-hitting low end. "Go Stupid" sees the Italian round things out with a cheeky banger, the mangled hip hop vocals dominating the track while a carefully considered arrangement and more, closing the release in refined style.
