Mad Thing by Maxvei

The drum-driven single marks the Montreal-based producer Maxvei's sophomore release on the Adesso Music label.

Maxvei was first introduced to the emerging Montreal underground dance scene in 2006, attending some of the city's most iconic venues, including the renowned Stereo Nightclub. Known for his fusion of Afro house, tech, and deep house, he's released on notable imprints from Made In Miami to Adesso Music. After earning widespread support from the likes of Bob Sinclar, Joseph Capriati, and Claptone for his 2023 smash single "Get Back," the French-Canadian artist now returns to Adesso Music with "Mad Thing."

"Mad Thing" is a drummy Afro house roller, propelled by dense layers of intricate percussion and deep, hypnotic grooves. A commanding vocal presence amplifies the energy to deliver a track that captures the essence of Maxvei's sound: deep, organic, and made for the dancefloor.
