Long-time friend of Defected, Ferreck Dawn, returns with Make Me Weak, featuring vocals from Caroline Byrne.
A Dutch powerhouse who in 2024 played for the London label at Wembley's OVO Arena, the summer season at Ushuaïa Ibiza, its flagship festival in Croatia, and a world tour stop in Toulouse, Ferreck continues to rep Defected on an international level - now preparing for the label's season at Pacha Ibiza. His Defected output matched his busy touring schedule, as he worked with Maverick Sabre, New Machine, GUZ, MEDUZA, and Clementine Douglas on a string of tracks last year.
Returning to the label in 2025, Ferreck collaborates with Caroline Byrne, a prolific dance music singer/songwriter who has previously featured on tracks with Gorgon City, Tudor, and TSHA. "Make Me Weak" is a groovier, more synth-laden outing for Ferreck, spotlighting Caroline's airy topline layered in harmony, creating a vocaloid-like effect that aligns perfectly with Ferreck's signature, hard-hitting production.
