Diddums by Dense & Pika
Dense & Pika debut on Nicole Moudaber's MOOD imprint this spring with Diddums, and the UK duo has created yet another utterly unique piece of dance floor weaponry.

Much like Dense & Pika's output for Hotflush Recordings, Hypercolour, Trick, and their own Kneaded Pains, "Diddums" is a stomping track that bridges House and Techno and is shot through with personality. With a perpetually ascending riff sitting atop rattling drums, tight snare rolls, and punctuating vox samples, "Diddums" is one of those tracks that leaps out of the speakers - a proper anthem from one of electronic music's most distinctive outfits.
Starting their partnership in 2011, Alex Jones (Hypercolour/Minder) and Chris Spero (Glimpse/mOat), aka Dense & Pika, have had a prolonged impact on the electronic music landscape, with remixes for X-Press 2, Paul Woolford, Leftfield, Maya Jane Coles and a slew of critically acclaimed original releases, a touring diary featuring Berghain, Fabric, Gashouder, Trouw and fervent DJ support from the likes of Scuba, Chris Liebing, Skream, Dubfire and more.
Nicole Moudaber's MOOD continues to raise the bar after high-impact releases from Ida Engberg, in collaboration with Moudaber herself, and Carlo Lio, which have gained global support from artists like Adam Beyer, Charlotte De Witte and Alan Fitzpatrick.
