Marseille To New York by Chicks Luv Us

A duo flying the flag for house music across the South Coast of France, Marseille-based DJ and producer pairing Chicks Luv Us looks to be on a roll over the past 12 months, launching their own label CLU Recs whilst releasing music via elrow, Moan, Rawthentic, Deeperfect, and CUFF. Keeping their good form going, mid-August sees the first outing on surging New York imprint Revival as they touch down to deliver three impactful cuts across their aptly titled "Marseille To New York" EP.

Opener "Wanna Get Close To You" showcases a slinking effort fusing rich, soulful vocals atop of snaking bass and skittering hats, while "One One" warps through an ever-evolving set of rolling drums, hypnotic stabs, and warping low ends. "Across The Room" closes the show as the pair work bubbling synths, crisp one-shots, and hopping glitches and pops across a bubbling 6+ minute workout.
