Alt-J, Kylie Minogue, London Grammar, Flume, Jon Hopkins and 30 more acts have been confirmed to perform from 17th to 19th July in front of the spectacular backdrop of the City of Iron.

True to this year's motto, the organisers of Melt! have been working day and night to shape the 2015 line-up. Today they're ready to give us the first 40+ acts that will venture to Ferropolis this summer to perform in front of the peninsula's trademark coal mining excavators.

The Melt! promoters are thrilled to announce that Alt-J will be back in Ferropolis. After their last show in 2013, the trio will enchant the crowd with their Grammy-nominated second album, "This Is All Yours".

Melt! has always been good for a surprise act gracing the stage in the City of Iron. In her 20+ years in the spotlight as a singer, Kylie Minogue has created a genre-spanning back catalogue that has captured the cultural zeitgeist of pop music ever since. She's been dabbling in dance music, bubbly synthpop, she experimented with feisty R&B, rock as well as techno. “I’m so excited to perform for the first time at Melt Festival! I can’t wait to see all my German fans again and share this magical moment,“ she told us. The organisers are delighted to have the Australian pop icon on board.

London Grammar's Melt! 2013 performance is by far one of the most clicked concerts on the festival's YouTube channel, mirroring the London-based trio's success story. For 2015, the organisers are proud to confirm one out of only two European shows this year.

Celebrating newcomers and old heroes alike, Melt! is also happy to announce three of today's key artists, Flume, Jon Hopkins and Kwabs - currently no. 1 in Germany - as well as the two directional masterminds, the grand seigneur of techno, Sven Väth, and Italo disco legend Giorgio Moroder whose production credits include hits such as Donna Summer's pioneering "I Feel Love".

Last but not least, it wouldn't be a proper Melt! without Modeselektor taking over the beach area. Once again, the duo will gather a formidable bunch of artists including Bonobo (DJ-Set), Clark, Autechre, Nozinja, Dark Sky, Sophie, The Bug, Dorian Concept, Siriusmodeselektor and many more.
