That's Right / The Maze by Will Taylor

Ever since his emergence in recent years, London-born Will Taylor's unrelenting work rate has continued to reap rewards via releases on South Of Saturn, Sola, and Saved, while founding his Freak imprint and maintaining his long-standing residency for ABODE. For his next release, the UK DJ and producer returns to the VIVa MUSIC family for his slick three-tracker "That's Right / The Maze," including a remix from Lowerhand Records boss and longtime Studio 338 resident Andrew Kay.

Humming low-ends carry subtle twists and pops in the lead track "That's Right" as choppy female vocals get to work over twisted synths, before "The Maze" harnesses elastic basslines, alluring lyrics, and shuffling percussion in this bouncy production. To close, Andrew Kay's reshape of "That's Right" ups the ante, throwing in deep, cavernous tones and dramatic breakdowns for this high-octane slice of dancefloor mania.
