For almost a decade Sevilla-born artist Rafa Barrios has been gracing the wider house music communities across the globe with stellar compositions on Hottrax and Repopulate Mars accompanied by impeccable DJ performances, including appearances at the likes of elrow in Barcelona and Igloofest in Montreal, through to Sónar Festival and ADE. Amidst continued support from Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Danny Tenaglia, and Reboot, Barrios now brings his expertise to this new imprint alongside forthcoming contributions from artists such as Chus & Ceballos, Andres Campo, Fer BR, Carloh, Ramiro Lopez and Eskuche all on the horizon.
"The Final Chapter" opens with sharp synths, swinging percussion, and syncopated rhythms until it is driven forward by an infectious melody hook that cuts through and lifts the energy to new levels. Next, "Plumbing" initiates a rousing atmosphere with rattling shakers and pulsing vocal samples before pitched-down toms and thumping bass realigns things toward a more thundering dance floor essential.
