Absurdity EP by Casper Schulz
The emerging Norway-based talent Casper Schulz returns to SOSA's COCO imprint with his latest EP, Absurdity.

SOSA’s bubbling label COCO continues its upward trajectory with a standout solo release from rising Norwegian DJ/producer, Casper Schulz. Following his lead contribution to the label’s recent Miami VA, Schulz now steps out solo with his first full EP on the imprint, delivering two distinctive cuts that showcase his refined and growing sound.
Landing just ahead of his appearance at the COCO Off Sonar Showcase - where he’ll share the booth with Kidoo and label boss SOSA - his "Absurdity EP" lands as the biggest release of his young career and journey to date. The title track leads with warped synth textures and crisp, rolling drums - a late-night weapon that builds pressure with precision. On the B-side, "He Wanted To Fly" blends hypnotic rhythms and sweeping atmospheres with punchy drums for a deeper, more introspective vibe, equally at home in peak-time sets and the after-hours.
A fixture of the Scandinavian scene, Schulz has spent years honing his craft, balancing percussive groove with atmospheric tension across minimal, house, and techno. His productions are subtle yet powerful, earning regular support from label boss SOSA, who has championed his tracks heavily worldwide. With his "Absurdity EP," Schulz returns as one of COCO’s key emerging voices, delivering two gems crafted with the dancefloor in mind.
