Bittersweet / Freeways by John Tejada & Plaid
John Tejada and Plaid have joined forces to deliver two fresh, original tracks, Bittersweet, and Freeways, the culmination of a long-awaited collaboration.

Conceived during Plaid's visit to Los Angeles, these songs seamlessly fuse the distinctive elements of each artist's style while paying homage to the dynamic techno vibes of the 90s that continue to inspire them. "Bittersweet" marries a transposing 303 bassline with Plaid's classic harmonies and Tejada's trademark rhythms, evoking a sense of nostalgia intertwined with innovation.
On the other hand, "Freeways" took shape primarily at Rosen Sound, a prestigious synth studio nestled in Burbank that offers a wide selection of vintage instruments. In this environment, Tejada and Plaid experimented with rare synths and drum machines, creating a new collaborative sound.
