Connected Through Music EP by Easttown Art by House Of Love

Amsterdam's Easttown is an artist becoming ever-present within the Dutch house landscape, with ever-increasingly regular appearances at the likes of Toffler and Thiushaven alongside support from peers such as ANOTR, Chris Stussy, and Michel De Hey. Becoming the second Dutch artist to release on House Of Love, he builds on recent material via NEED and Franky Rizardo's LTF Records to showcase a deeper, house-driven side to his sound as he makes his first appearance on Folamour's ever-impressing label with his four-track "Connected Through Music EP."

I think this EP shows my musical side a bit more. For instance, in tracks like "Circle of Influence" and "Enhance." It's still in combination with groovy basslines and drums, which work well in clubs and festivals, and I've already had some great moments seeing the tracks played by Folamour at DGTL, DC10, and Cercle plus, of course, playing them myself. I'd like to thank Bruno for pushing me to get the best out of this EP, and I'm super happy to see the tracks released.

"Breeze" opens proceedings with a track ‘shaped for the dancefloor', built on a solid bassline, groovy drums, classic disco stabs, and guitar riffs, all accented by warming vocals. Next, "Circle Of Influence" combines varying melodies and pads built around blissful chords, featuring builds and breaks to create memorable moments. "Discotheque" is warm through a medley of Rhodes, filtered synths, and bright guitar riffs, before "Enhance' closes the show with more infectious, sun-soaked house goodness.
